“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” ~ W.B. Yeats Have you noticed? People’s senses appear to be growing duller as they hypnotically move through their self-obsessed little worlds of goals and worries. I became aware of this creeping condition years ago while traveling to give keynote talks at corporate events.
Wonderful story, Tom. And by the way, as I saw your podcast come over today I thought "that guys has put a ton of work into this series!" Congrats on that too! Much more work even than Media Unplugged!
Making magic so we can experience magic. Doing God’s work.
Oh Tom!
“People’s senses appear to be growing duller as they hypnotically move through their self-obsessed little worlds of goals and worries.”
This hit home for me.
I still have work to do on this.
Loved today’s piece.
Magic is everywhere but our senses don’t recognize all of it.
Learning everyday from you.
Thank you!
That is a wow kind of story. Perspective is a powerful lesson.
Thanks for the reminder to tune in to the magic. All around. Jim
This was a great one, Tom. I always read but never post. This one moved me enough. I enjoy your work to this day.
